【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationdescribestherequiredpropertiesandtestmethodsforacoldliquid-appliedelastomericmembraneforwaterproofingbuildingdecksnotsubjecttohydrostaticpressure.Thespecificationappliesonlytoamembranesystemthathasanintegralwearingsurface.Thisspecificationdoesnotincludespecificrequirementsforskidresistanceorfireretardance,althoughbothmaybeimportantinspecificuses.1.2Thetypeofmembranesystemdescribedinthisspecificationisusedforpedestrianandvehiculartrafficandinhigh-abrasionapplications.Themembranemaybesingle-ormulti-component,andmayconsistofoneormorecoats(forexamplebasecoat,topcoat,etc.).Thecoat(s)maybebuilttothedesiredthicknessinoneormoreapplications.Onecoat(basecoat)providestheprimarywaterproofingfunctionandnormallycomprisesthemajoramountoforganicmaterialinthemembrane.Thefunctionofthetopcoat(s)istoresistwearandweather.Aggregatemaybeusedasacomponentofthemembranesystem,asallorpartofacourse,toincreasewearandskidresistance.1.3Thecommitteewithjurisdictionoverthisstandardisnotawareofanycomparablestandardspublishedbyotherorganizations.1.4Testmethodsinthisspecificationrequireaminimum0.5-mm(0.020-in.)basecoatdryfilmthickness.Actualthicknessrequiredforaparticularapplicationandtheuseofaggregateintopcoatsshallbeestablishedbythemembranemanufacturer.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationpurposesonly.Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section5,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
