【摘要】:ThispartofISO11929specifiessuitablestatisticalvalueswhichallowanassessmentofthedetectioncapabilitiesinhighresolutiongammaspectrometricionizingradiationmeasurements,withouttheinfluenceofsampletreatment[1to11].Forthispurpose,statisticalmethodsareusedtospecifythefollowingtwostatisticalvaluescharacterizinggivenprobabilitiesoferror.—Thedecisionthreshold,whichallowsadecisiontobemadeforeachmeasurementwithagivenprobabilityoferrorastowhethertheregisteredpulsesinaregionofinterestofthespectrumincludeacontributionbythesample(e.g.apeakofagammalineofanuclideinquestion).—Thedetectionlimit,whichspecifiestheminimumsamplecontributionwhichcanbedetectedwithagivenprobabilityoferrorusingthemeasuringprocedureinquestion.ThisconsequentlyallowsadecisiontobemadeastowhetherameasuringmethoddefinedinthispartofISO11929satisfiescertainrequirementsandisconsequentlysuitableforthegivenpurposeofmeasurement.
